Day 1 - Sunday
We fly from London Heathrow to Tel Aviv. On arrival transfer to Bethlehem for dinner and overnight.
Day 2 - Monday
Today we explore Bethlehem, visiting the Church of the Nativity, the actual place of Jesus’ birth and the Shepherds’ Fields, where the angels announced the birth of Jesus to the local shepherds. We share a traditional lunch with a local Palestinian family in order to taste delicious Arabic cuisine and learn about the local culture and traditions. After the lively interaction with locals, we visit the Bethlehem museum, walk through the streets of the old city and familiarise ourselves with the Israeli - Palestinian wall of separation and its stories.
After the dinner in the hotel we go to taste famous local sweets called ‘knafa’ (optional), it’s very tasty!
Day 3 - Tuesday
We travel by bus to Jerusalem visiting the Temple Mount, the actual place of where the second temple was built and the Western Wall, the only outdoor wall of the Temple Mount saved from the second temple period. We also visit the Israeli museum, seeing the original scrolls of Isaiah found in Qumran and 1:50 model of the city of Jerusalem from the second temple period. We visit the Garden Tomb, which represents an authentic place burial during ancient times. The last visit of the day will be Bethpage, where Jesus started his walk to Jerusalem one week before Passover.

Day 4 - Wednesday
This morning we travel by bus back to Jerusalem, to experience the ‘Via Dolorosa’ and carry a real cross representing our sins. We visit Mount Zion, where Jesus and his disciples had the last supper. We walk down the Mount of Olives to the Garden of Gethsemane, where olive trees dating back to the time of Jesus are still present and we visit the Church of All Nations, a church representing the agony of Jesus in Gethsemane.

Day 5 - Thursday
Today we travel down towards the Dead Sea visiting the authentic place of Jesus’ baptism site in the River Jordan where there will be opportunity to renew our baptismal vows. Then travel to Qumran, where Isaiah scripts were found and the Dead Sea, where we can float and relax our body and soul.

Day 6 - Friday
This morning we drive back towards the Dead Sea to Jericho, the oldest city in the world. Explore the Mount of Temptation, the place in the desert where Jesus said to the devil ‘Man does not live on the bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’ Mt 4, 4. Then travel north along the Jordan valley Road towards Galilee and Mount Tabor, where the transfiguration took place. Continue to Cana of Galilee, where the first miracle of Jesus was undertaken. Visit ‘the synagogue’, where Jesus prayed during his life in Nazareth. Our final stop before heading to the airport is Nazareth Village, a village recreated according to the excavations from the 1st century giving us a chance to imagine the life from the time of Jesus.

Day 7 - Saturday
The Morning Prayer will take place on Mount Precipice, where people from Nazareth wanted to throw Jesus off. After breakfast, we visit the places of Jesus’ Ministry; Mount of Beatitudes, Tabgha (multiplication of fish and bread, Peter’s primacy) and Capernaum. We symbolically eat fish caught by Peter and then take a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee, where we can learn how to dance to Jewish music.

Day 8 - Sunday
We explore Nazareth. Visiting the Basilica of Annunciation, where angel Gabriel came to Mary and announced that she was going to become a mother of God. Afterwards, we have lunch then transfer to Tel Aviv airport for our return flight to London.

Passports, Visas and Vaccinations
Travellers are responsible for ensuring that they have a valid passport for travel to the relevant countries and that it is valid for at least 6 months after the date of travel. Latest entry requirements can be found here www.israelsafe.com. A visa is not required for British Passport holders visiting Israel and no inoculations are required for travel but you may wish to consult your own doctor for advice concerning this. Further Information and Paying The Balance
Further information will be sent to you regarding any action that may be required approximately 12 weeks before departure. A final invoice will also be sent at this time and the balance for the tour must be paid at least 10 weeks before departure.
Travel Information
Full travel information, including details of meeting points, flight times, accommodation and travel information, will be sent to you approximately 2 weeks before departure. Normally, tickets are not issued but are handed to you at the airport or departure point by our representative who will be there to ensure that you depart without a hitch and to deal with any last minute difficulties.
Travel Insurance

Gratuities
Our normal procedure is to deal with tips on a group basis and if these are included in the price the tour leader will distribute them to the guide, driver and hotels on your behalf. Individual tipping is not recommended unless the circumstances are exceptional.
Room Check In and Check Out Times
The standard international practice is to let rooms from midday to midday. However times do vary. Check-in times are usually between 2pm and 3pm, check-out times between 11am and 12 noon on the day of departure. Therefore, if you check-in immediately after a night flight this would normally count as one night’s accommodation. Similarly if your return flight is at night you will normally be required to vacate your room at 12 noon prior to leaving for the airport. Day rooms are subject to availability/cost and should be arranged locally with the accommodation management.
