I am delighted to welcome you on our trip to the historical and biblical- Holy Land of Israel from Saturday 24th - Saturday 31st October 2020.
For many, going on a pilgrimage to the Holy Land is a Christians dream.
For since Jesus’ time the Roman’s, Byzantines, Moslems, Turks and the British have all come and left their mark on this tiny land which is roughly the size of Wales.
This is not a vacation or a holiday, but a time of Spiritual Growth and Educational Experience.
The main aim of our trip to Israel is to learn and experience the places named in our Bible, to walk where Jesus walked, with your Bible as your guide book.
When we have stood together in the synagogue and the Temple area where He taught, and when we enter and view His empty tomb, surely, we will come home with a new grasp of the Bible and an added dimension to our faith.

London - Tel Aviv
We depart from London Gatwick on our flight to Tel Aviv. On arrival we will be met and transferred to our hotel in Tel Aviv for dinner and overnight.
Cana - Nazareth
Today we drive to visit Mt Carmel en route to Nazareth, the place where Jesus grew up and visit the Nazareth Village depicting life in the times of Jesus. Finally we visit Mt Tabor which we ascend and descend by taxis before continuing to Tiberias for dinner and overnight.
Galilee - Capernaum - Mt Beatitudes
This morning we take a wonderful boat trip across the Sea of Galilee from Tiberias. There will be opportunity to stop during the trip for a brief service on the lake. We continue to Capernaum, “the home town of Jesus”, the Church of the Primacy of St. Peter and Tabgha, the site where Jesus fed the 5,000. We continue to the Mount of Beatitudes which commemorates Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount.
Dinner and overnight in Tiberias.
Galilee - Jericho
We leave Tiberias and travel south along the Jordan Valley Road to the place of baptism on the River Jordan at Yardinet.
Continue to Jericho to see the ancient city and travel up the Mount of Temptation by cable car.
Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.
Mount of Olives - Bethlehem
We drive to the top of the Mount of Olives to admire the spectacular views of the walled Old City of Jerusalem and to view the Place of the Ascension. We walk down the Palm Sunday Road to Dominus Flevit where Jesus wept over the city and the Garden of Gethsemane. In the afternoon we drive to Bethlehem to visit the Church of the Nativity and the Shepherds’ Fields before returning to our hotel in Jerusalem for dinner and overnight.
Way of the Cross - Mount Zion
This morning we enter the Old City and begin our tour at the Church of St. Anne and the Pool of Bethesda. We continue to the Tower of Antonia where Jesus was tried and the Church of the Flagellation from where we will follow the Way of the Cross. We visit the Western (Wailing) Wall. In the afternoon we visit Mount Zion and the Upper Room, also known as the Cenacle. We continue to the Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu, which was built over the site of the house of the High Priest Caiaphas and the dungeon where Jesus was imprisoned before his trial. Here Peter denied knowing Jesus.
Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.
Masada – Dead Sea
Today we drive to Masada and visit Herod’s hilltop fortress that we will ascend and descend by cable car. We then enjoy a float in the Dead Sea and visit Qumran where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered before driving to Jerusalem for dinner and overnight.
We leave Jerusalem and travel to the airport for our return flight to London Gatwick.

Passports, Visas and Vaccinations
Travellers are responsible for ensuring that they have a valid passport for travel to the relevant countries and that it is valid for at least 6 months after the date of travel. A visa is not required for British Passport holders visiting Israel. At the time this brochure went to press no vaccinations or inoculations are required for travel but you may wish to consult your own doctor for advice concerning this. If you have any queries regarding the above, we will be happy to help.

Further Information And Paying The Balance
Further information will be sent to you regarding any action that may be required approximately 10 weeks before departure. A final invoice will also be sent at this time and the balance for the tour must be paid at least 8 weeks before departure.
Full travel information, including details of meeting points, flight times, accommodation and travel information, will be sent to you approximately 2 weeks before departure. Normally, tickets are not issued but are handed to you at the airport or departure point by our representative who will be there to ensure that you depart without a hitch and to deal with any last minute difficulties.

Our normal procedure is to deal with tips on a group basis and these are included in the price. The tour leader will distribute them to the guide, driver and hotels on your behalf. Individual tipping is not recommended unless the circumstances are exceptional.
Room Check In and Check Out Times
The standard international practice is to let rooms from midday to midday. However times do vary. Check-in times are usually between 2pm and 3pm, check-out times between 11am and 12 noon on the day of departure. Therefore, if you check-in immediately after a night flight this would normally count as one night’s accommodation. Similarly if your return flight is at night you will normally be required to vacate your room at 12 noon prior to leaving for the airport. Day rooms are subject to availability/cost and should be arranged locally with the accommodation management.
