I am delighted to welcome you on our November trip to the Land of the Bible, the historical and biblical- Holy Land of Israel from 12th - 19th November 2017.
This is not a vacation or a holiday, but a time of Spiritual Growth.
The main aim of our trip to Israel is to learn and experience the places named in our Bible, to walk where Jesus walked, with your Bible as your guide book.
When we have stood together in the synagogue and the Temple area where he taught, and when we enter and view His empty tomb, surely we will come home with a new grasp of the Bible and an added dimension to our faith.

Day 1 - Thursday
Journey to Israel
We depart from London Gatwick on our flight to Tel Aviv. On arrival we will be met and transferred to our hotel in Jerusalem for dinner and overnight.
Day 2 - Friday
We begin our tour on the Mount of Olives where we enjoy a panoramic view over the Old City of Jerusalem. We walk down the Palm Sunday road to visit Dominus Flevit, where Jesus wept over Jerusalem. We continue descending until we reach the Church of Agony and the Garden of Gethsemane and consider the final hours spent by Jesus before the cross is is a very powerful and moving experience. We continue to St Peter in Gallicantu, where Peter denied the Lord three times and the Upper Room. Here we can see the original steps that Jesus climbed from the Lower City to the House of Caiaphas the Priest. We enter the Old City and visit the Cardo, the Jewish Quarter and end the day at the Western (Wailing) Wall.
Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.
Day 3 - Saturday
This morning we walk on the Temple Mount, visit the Western Wall Tunnel, Ecce Homo & the Pavement ending at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. We then visit the Model city of Jerusalem and end the day at Yad Vashem, the Holocaust Museum.
Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.
Day 4 - Sunday
Today we drive to Masada, Herod’s hilltop fortress, which we ascend and descend by cable car. We visit Ein Gedi, associated with Nahal and David and then to the lowest place on earth where we enjoy a float in the Dead Sea. We visit Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered and end the day with a communion service at the Garden Tomb.
Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.
Day 5 - Monday
Bethlehem – Abraham’s Tent
This morning we drive to Bethlehem to visit the Shepherd Fields and the Church of the Nativity. Enjoy a visit to Abraham’s Tent (Genesis Land) and then continue to Jericho, one of the oldest inhabited cities in the world, where we visit the Tel. We drive to the Baptismal site near Jericho and then continue to Tiberias for dinner and overnight.
Day 6 - Tuesday
Today we travel north to visit Caesarea Philippi, source of the River Jordan. en to Gamla, an ancient Jewish city on the Golan Heights, sometimes known as the “Masada of the North,” and most famous for it’s strong defense against the Romans in the Jewish Revolt in AD 66. We visit the Kfar Haruv viewpoint and enjoy a boat ride on the lake when there will be opportunity for a short time of worship. We visit Capernaum, the hometown of Jesus, Tabgha, associated with the loaves and fishes, Mount of Beatitudes and St Peter Primacy.
Dinner and overnight Tiberius.
Day 7 - Wednesday
Nazareth - Carmel
We leave Tiberias and drive past Mount Tabor on the way to Cana, where Jesus turned the water into wine. Visit Nazareth and the Church of the Annunciation, the Nazareth Village, depicting life as in the time of Jesus, Megiddo and finally Mount Carmel with its panoramic views.
Dinner and overnight Haifa.
Day 8 - Thursday
This morning we visit Caesarea Maritima, the Crusader fortress and amphitheatre before continuing to airport for return flight to London Gatwick.

Passports, Visas and Vaccinations
Travellers are responsible for ensuring that they have a valid passport for travel to the relevant countries and that it is valid for at least 6 months after the date of travel. A visa is not required for British Passport holders visiting Israel. At the time this brochure went to press no vaccinations or inoculations are required for travel but you may wish to consult your own doctor for advice concerning this. If you have any queries regarding the above, we will be happy to help.

Further Information And Paying The Balance
Further information will be sent to you regarding any action that may be required approximately 10 weeks before departure. A final invoice will also be sent at this time and the balance for the tour must be paid at least 8 weeks before departure.
Full travel information, including details of meeting points, flight times, accommodation and travel information, will be sent to you approximately 2 weeks before departure. Normally, tickets are not issued but are handed to you at the airport or departure point by our representative who will be there to ensure that you depart without a hitch and to deal with any last minute difficulties.

Our normal procedure is to deal with tips on a group basis and these are included in the price. The tour leader will distribute them to the guide, driver and hotels on your behalf. Individual tipping is not recommended unless the circumstances are exceptional.
Room Check In and Check Out Times
The standard international practice is to let rooms from midday to midday. However times do vary. Check-in times are usually between 2pm and 3pm, check-out times between 11am and 12 noon on the day of departure. Therefore, if you check-in immediately after a night flight this would normally count as one night’s accommodation. Similarly if your return flight is at night you will normally be required to vacate your room at 12 noon prior to leaving for the airport. Day rooms are subject to availability/cost and should be arranged locally with the accommodation management.
