Bethel House of Worship tour of the Holy Land

Bethel House of Worship invites you to join us in a tour of the Holy Land. This is going to be an anointed and powerful experience not to be missed.

Psalms 133 v 1 Behold how good and how pleasant it is to dwell together in unity.

Let us fellowship in praise and worship, teaching. We will walk the paths our saviour walked see the Bible unfold embracing on the miracles through signs and wonders.

Day 1
Flight from London Luton to Ben Gurion Airport. On arrival you will be met by our Agent and transferred to your hotel in Nazareth for dinner and overnight.

Day 2
Today we drive to Mt. Carmel, where Elijah challenged the Prophets of Baal. We continue to Nazareth Village depicting life as in the times of Jesus and return to Tiberias via Cana of Galilee - the traditional site of Jesus’ first miracle of turning water into wine.

Day 3
In the morning we enjoy a boat trip across the Sea of Galilee visiting Capernaum. Drive along the shores of Galilee visiting Tabgha, the traditional site of the multiplication of the loaves and fishes then to the Church of the Primacy and the Mt. of Beatitudes. At Nof Ginnosar you will have an opportunity to see the ‘Jesus Boat’ and a visit to the Kibbutz. Drive on to the place of Baptism where there will be the opportunity to be baptised for those who wish.
Dinner and overnight in Nazareth.

Day 4
We leave Tiberias for Jerusalem. Drive along the Jordan Valley Road to Jericho where you will visit the excavations, Elisha’s Spring and also see the Mount of Temptations. We drive along the Old Road to see the ‘valley of the shadow of death’ and St George’s Monastery. We then drive to Shiloh for a visit.
Dinner and overnight in Bethlehem.

Day 5
Drive to the Mount of Olives, visiting the Church of Ascension, Dominus Flevit and then walk down the Palm Sunday Road to the Garden of Gethsemane and visit the Church of All Nations. Drive on to Mt. Zion visiting St. Peter in Gallicantu, the Dormition Abbey and the Room of the Last Supper. Continue to the town of Bethlehem and visit the Church of the Nativity and the Shepherd’s Fields.

Day 6
In the morning a walking tour of the Old City. View the Western Wall, Temple Mount and the Tower of David. In the afternoon walk along the Via Dolorosa, see the Pool of Bethesda, St. Anne’s Chapel and the Chapel of the Flagellation. Pass along the Ecce Homo Arch, visit the Sister’s of Zion Chapel and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.

Day 7
Morning visit to the excavations of the Monastery at Qumran and the cave where the shepherd boy found the Dead Sea Scrolls, relax at Ein Gedi where we have opportunity to bathe in the warm waters of the Dead Sea. We return to Jerusalem for a Communion Service at the Garden Tomb followed a guided tour of the Garden.

Day 8
his morning we drive to Jaffa for a visit before our coach takes us to Ben Gurion Airport for our return flight home to London Luton.

Fitness
People of all ages are welcome, but, whatever your age, we must insist on a reasonable level of fitness. A number of sites involve rough walking.

Passports, Visas and Vaccinations
Travellers are responsible for ensuring that they have a valid passport for travel to the relevant countries and that it is valid for at least 6 months after the date of travel. Latest entry requirements can be found here www.israelsafe.com. A visa is not required for British Passport holders visiting Israel and no inoculations are required for travel but you may wish to consult your own doctor for advice concerning this. Further Information and Paying The Balance
Further information will be sent to you regarding any action that may be required approximately 12 weeks before departure. A final invoice will also be sent at this time and the balance for the tour must be paid at least 10 weeks before departure.

Travel Information
Full travel information, including details of meeting points, flight times, accommodation and travel information, will be sent to you approximately 2 weeks before departure. Normally, tickets are not issued but are handed to you at the airport or departure point by our representative who will be there to ensure that you depart without a hitch and to deal with any last minute difficulties.

Travel Insurance

Gratuities
Our normal procedure is to deal with tips on a group basis and if these are included in the price the tour leader will distribute them to the guide, driver and hotels on your behalf. Individual tipping is not recommended unless the circumstances are exceptional.

Room Check In and Check Out Times
The standard international practice is to let rooms from midday to midday. However times do vary. Check-in times are usually between 2pm and 3pm, check-out times between 11am and 12 noon on the day of departure. Therefore, if you check-in immediately after a night flight this would normally count as one night’s accommodation. Similarly if your return flight is at night you will normally be required to vacate your room at 12 noon prior to leaving for the airport. Day rooms are subject to availability/cost and should be arranged locally with the accommodation management.
