Discover the rich Jewish history, their customs and way of life that formed the world our Lord was born into. Walk in ancient Jericho, see where our lord fed the 5000 and taught the Lord‘s prayer to his disciples. Feel the history as you walk in Bethlehem and visit the church of the Nativity on the very site where our Lord was born. Then on to Nazareth where the Angel Gabriel announced to the Virgin Mary she would bear a child the Christ. Sample the beautiful sweet wine of Cana where Jesus performed his first miracle turning water into wine. These are just a few of the treasures we have in store for you.

Day 1
London / Tel Aviv

We depart on our flight from London Heathrow to Tel Aviv. Meeting and assistance upon arrival and transfer to our hotel in Bethlehem for dinner and overnight. 

Day 2
Mt. of Olives  / Jerusalem

After breakfast we visit Mount of Olives where we have a panoramic view over the Old City of Jerusalem Visit the Paternoster and walk down the Palm Sunday road to the chapel of Dominus Flevit, where the Lord wept over Jerusalem. Finally descend to the Garden of Gethsemane and the Church of All Nations. We visit David’s City; and see the recently uncovered Pool of Siloam, and a recently discovered paved street from the Pool to the Temple. We end the day with a visit to the Garden Tomb.
Dinner and overnight in Bethlehem. 

Day 3
Mt. Zion / Bethlehem

Visit Mount Zion and the Upper Room, also known as the Cenacle which commemorates the Last Supper; and the Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu on the site of the house of the High Priest Caiaphas and see the Dungeon where Jesus was imprisoned. In the afternoon visit the Church of the Nativity and the Grotto, venerated as the Birthplace of Jesus. We drive to the Shepherds’ Fields.
Dinner and overnight in Bethlehem.

Day 4
Way of the Cross / Ein Kerem

This morning we enter the Old City and start our tour at the Crusaders’ Church of St. Anne and the Pool of Bethesda. Continue to the Tower of Antonia where Jesus was tried, the Church of the Flagellation and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. We visit the Western (Wailing) Wall. Visit Ein Kerem associated with John the Baptist.
Dinner and overnight in Bethlehem.

Day 5
Dead Sea /Jericho / Baptismal Site

We leave Bethlehem and drive to the Dead Sea where there will be opportunity to bathe in the warm waters and Qumran.   We then drive to Jericho where we take the cable car to the Mount of Temptation.
Continue to the nearby baptismal site on the river Jordan where there will be an opportunity to be baptised before continuing to our hotel in Nazareth for dinner and overnight. 

Day 6
Sea of Galilee

After breakfast we take a boat trip across the Sea of Galilee. The boat will stop on the lake if you wish to have a brief service. We will first visit Capernaum “ The Town of Jesus” where he carried out a major part of his Ministry and Messianic Work. Visit the excavations and St. Peter’s Church. Visit Tabgha, the site where the Lord fed the 5,000 with five loaves and two fish and the Mount of Beatitudes which commemorates our Lord’s Sermon on the Mount.
Dinner and overnight at our hotel in Nazareth. 

Day 7
Nazareth / Cana / Mt. Tabor

This morning we visit Nazareth Village depicting life as in the times of Jesus. Cana of Galilee where Jesus performed his first miracle by turning water into wine at a wedding feast. Those who wish can renew their marriage vows. In the afternoon we drive to Mount Tabor where the Lord was transfigured which we will ascend and descend by taxis before returning to our hotel in Nazareth for dinner and overnight. 

Day 8
Mt Carmel

We drive to Mount Carmel site of the encounter between Elijah & the prophets of Baal & Haifa to see the Bahai temple.
Dinner and overnight at our hotel in Nazareth. 

Day 9
Jaffa / Tel Aviv / London

Morning visit to Jaffa for shopping before the coach takes us to Tel Aviv airport for our return flight to London Heathrow.

Passports, Visas and Vaccinations
Travellers are responsible for ensuring that they have a valid passport for travel to the relevant countries and that it is valid for at least 6 months after the date of travel. A visa is not required for British Passport holders visiting Israel.
Latest entry requirements can be found here www.israelsafe.com. No inoculations are required for travel but you may wish to consult your own doctor for advice concerning this. If you have any queries regarding the above, we will be happy to help.

Further Information and Paying The Balance
Further information will be sent to you regarding any action that may be required approximately 12 weeks before departure. A final invoice will also be sent at this time and the balance for the tour must be paid at least 10 weeks before departure.

Travel Information
Full travel information, including details of meeting points, flight times, accommodation and travel information, will be sent to you approximately 2 weeks before departure. Normally, tickets are not issued but are handed to you at the airport or departure point by our representative who will be there to ensure that you depart without a hitch and to deal with any last minute difficulties.

Travel Insurance
It is compulsory to have travel insurance for your booking. Staysure have a range of policies available at very competitive prices. You can obtain a quote online by clicking here.

Gratuities
Our normal procedure is to deal with tips on a group basis and if these are included in the price the tour leader will distribute them to the guide, driver and hotels on your behalf. Individual tipping is not recommended unless the circumstances are exceptional.

Room Check In and Check Out Times
The standard international practice is to let rooms from midday to midday. However times do vary. Check-in times are usually between 2pm and 3pm, check-out times between 11am and 12 noon on the day of departure. Therefore, if you check-in immediately after a night flight this would normally count as one night’s accommodation. Similarly if your return flight is at night you will normally be required to vacate your room at 12 noon prior to leaving for the airport. Day rooms are subject to availability/cost and should be arranged locally with the accommodation management.
