Discover the rich Jewish history, their customs and way of life that formed the world our Lord was born into. Walk in ancient Jericho, see where our lord fed the 5000 and taught the Lord‘s prayer to his disciples. Feel the history as you walk in Bethlehem and visit the church of the Nativity on the very site where our Lord was born. Then on to Nazareth where the Angel Gabriel announced to the Virgin Mary she would bear a child the Christ. Sample the beautiful sweet wine of Cana where Jesus performed his first miracle turning water into wine.

Day 1 - London / Tel Aviv
We depart on our flight from London to Tel Aviv. Meeting and assistance upon arrival and transfer to our hotel in Netanya for dinner and overnight.

Day 2 - Nazareth / Cana / Mt. Tabor
We visit Mount Carmel and then to the Church of the Annunciation and Nazareth Village. Travel to Cana of Galilee where Jesus performed his first miracle by turning water into wine at a wedding feast. Those who wish can renew their marriage vows. In the afternoon we drive to Mount Tabor where the Lord was transfigured, which we will ascend and descend by taxis before we drive to our hotel in Tiberias for dinner and overnight.

Day 3 - The Sea of Galilee
After breakfast we take a boat trip across the Sea of Galilee. The boat will stop on the lake if you wish to have a brief service. We will first visit Capernaum “the Town of Jesus” where he carried out the major part of his Ministry and Messianic Work. Visit the excavations and St. Peter’s Church. Visit Tabgha, the site where the Lord fed the 5,000 with five loaves and two fishes, and the Mount of Beatitudes which commemorates our Lord’s Sermon on the Mount. Finally we visit Bethsaida.
Dinner and overnight in Tiberias.

Day 4 - Jericho / Jerusalem
Today we leave Galilee and visit the baptism site at Yardinet on the River Jordan where there will be the opportunity to be baptised before driving to Shechem and Jacob’s Well. After returning from Mesopotamia Jacob bought a plot of land for “a hundred pieces of silver” where he pitched his tent and dug a deep well. Jesus spoke to the Samaritan woman here. Our next stop will be in Jericho. View the ancient city and take the chair lift to the Mount of Temptation before we continue to the Inn of the Good Samaritan and then to Jerusalem. On arrival we will drive to the top of the Mount of Olives to admire the spectacular views of the walled Old City, after an explanation of the view drive to Bethlehem for dinner and overnight.

Day 5 - Bethlehem / Shepherds’ Fields
This morning we drive to Jerusalem and have free time for shopping In the Old City. In the afternoon, we visit the Church of the Nativity and the Grotto, venerated as the Birthplace of Jesus. We drive to the Shepherds’ Fields where we have a service.
Dinner and overnight in Bethlehem.

Day 6 - Mt. of Olives / Mt. Zion
After breakfast we visit Bethany where we visit Lazarus’ tomb and then continue to the Mount of Olives where we have a panoramic view over the Old City. Walk down the Palm Sunday road to the chapel of Dominus Flevit, where the Lord wept over Jerusalem. Finally descend to the Garden of Gethsemane and the Church of All Nations. In the afternoon visit Mount Zion and the Upper Room, also known as the Cenacle which commemorates the Last Supper; the Dormition Abbey, commemorating the falling asleep of Mary; and the Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu on the sight of the house of the High Priest Caiaphas and see the Dungeon where Jesus was imprisoned. We end the day with a visit to the Garden Tomb.

Day 7 - The Way of the Cross
This morning we shall enter the Old City and start our tour at the Crusaders’ Church of St. Anne and the Pool of Bethesda. Continue to the Tower of Antonia where Jesus was tried and the Church of the Flagellation. We visit the Western (Wailing) Wall where we will spend some time before we return to our hotel in Bethlehem for dinner and overnight.

Day 8 - Masada / Dead Sea / Qumran
Today we drive to Masada to visit Herod’s hill top fortress. We ascend and descend by cable car. We then enjoy the experience of bathing in the Dead Sea. Finally, we visit Qumran where the Dead Scrolls were discovered before returning to our hotel in Bethlehem for dinner and overnight.

Day 9 - Valley of Elah / Latrun Monastery
Today we drive to the Valley of Elah, the location of the battle of David and Goliath, Latrun Monastery.
Dinner and overnight in Bethlehem.

Day 10 - Tel Aviv / London
Coach to Jerusalem for communion service at the Garden Tomb before transferring to the airport in the afternoon for return flight to London.

Passports, Visas and Vaccinations
Travellers are responsible for ensuring that they have a valid passport for travel to the relevant countries and that it is valid for at least 6 months after the date of travel. A visa is not required for British Passport holders visiting Israel. At the time this brochure went to press no vaccinations or inoculations are required for travel but you may wish to consult your own doctor for advice concerning this. Further Information And Paying The Balance
Further information will be sent to you regarding any action that may be required approximately 10 weeks before departure. A final invoice will also be sent at this time and the balance for the tour must be paid at least 8 weeks before departure.

Travel Information
Full travel information, including details of meeting points, flight times, accommodation and travel information, will be sent to you approximately 2 weeks before departure. Normally, tickets are not issued but are handed to you at the airport or departure point by our representative who will be there to ensure that you depart without a hitch and to deal with any last minute difficulties.

Travel Insurance

Gratuities
Our normal procedure is to deal with tips on a group basis and these are included in the price. The tour leader will distribute them to the guide, driver and hotels on your behalf. Individual tipping is not recommended unless the circumstances are exceptional.

Room Check In and Check Out Times
The standard international practice is to let rooms from midday to midday. However times do vary. Check-in times are usually between 2pm and 3pm, check-out times between 11am and 12 noon on the day of departure. Therefore, if you check-in immediately after a night flight this would normally count as one night’s accommodation. Similarly if your return flight is at night you will normally be required to vacate your room at 12 noon prior to leaving for the airport. Day rooms are subject to availability/cost and should be arranged locally with the accommodation management.
