I am inviting you to join me on this life changing experience to the Holyland. It does not matter who you are, what your background is or perhaps you are just curious because you have heared the story. I want to assure you that you will experience something new. For those who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ it is an opportunity to walk on the land our saviour walk and lived and also to experience and see what you have heared and read in the bible. It is amazing.
It will be a great opportunity to pray and fellowship with others. An experience and memories that will never be forgotten.
Please join me for this great encounter to the Holyland. It is real and our redeemer lives.
Day 1 - Tuesday
We leave London Luton on a direct morning flight to Tel Aviv, where we will be met on arrival for transfer to our hotel in Tiberias (by the Sea of Galilee).
Day 2 - Wednesday
We start the day with an audio-visual introduction to the region at “The Galilee Experience”. We visit the amphitheatre and aqueduct at Caesarea and drive to Mount Carmel, the scene of Elijah’s conflict with the prophets of Baal. Then, passing Mount Tabor (a possible site of the Transfiguration) we visit Cana (where Jesus turned water into wine), and continue to Nazareth - where we see a church built around Mary’s Well, and Jesus’ reputed childhood home (at the Church of the Annunciation). We visit Nazareth Village (depicting life in the time of Jesus), and the Mount of the Precipice (believed by some to be where Jesus was taken by the angry crowd after preaching at the Nazareth Synagogue) – from which we view the Jezreel Valley, the Biblical location for Armageddon.
Day 3 - Thursday
We visit the 2000 year old “Jesus Boat” at a nearby kibbutz, and then sail across the Sea of Galilee on a replica of this boat - pausing during this for our Sunday worship. We visit sites associated with Jesus’ ministry: Migdal (the home of Mary Magdalene, with a synagogue from the time of Jesus); Kursi (a possible location for the Gadarene swine); Capernaum (Jesus’ home town, with its ancient synagogue and Peter’s house); We enjoy a St Peter’s fish lunch and Tabgha (a possible site of the feeding of the 5000, and of a lakeside resurrection appearance of Jesus). We finish the day celebrating communion on the hillside of the Mount of Beatitudes (the setting for the Sermon on the Mount).
Day 4 -Friday
Today we visit the Baptismal site at Yardenit where there will be opportunity to be baptised in the River Jordan. Leaving the Galilee, we travel south to Jericho - where we view the ancient city and take the chair lift to the Mount of Temptation before we continue to the Inn Of The Good Samaritan. We recall the temptation of Jesus, and reflect on Jesus’ encounters with Bartimaeus and Zacchaeus. We continue through the Wadi Kelt (possibly the inspiration for the “Valley of the Shadow of Death”) where we see St George’s Monastery across the valley. As we draw close to Jerusalem, we visit Bethany, the site of Lazarus’ tomb.
We continue to our new hotel in Bethlehem.
Day 5 - Saturday
In the morning, we visit nearby Herodion (one of Herod’s many palaces, believed to have contained Herod’s tomb); the Shepherds’ Fields; and the Church of the Nativity. During the afternoon, we proceed to Hebron to visit the cave of the Patriarchs or the cave of Machpelah. The compound is the second holiest site in Judaism after the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.
Dinner and overnight in Bethlehem.
Day 6 - Sunday
We drive to Ein Kerem birth place of John the Baptist and then we drive to the top of the Mount of Olives and walk down the Palm Sunday route to Dominus Flevit, the Church of All Nations and the Garden of Gethsemane. In the afternoon drive to Mount Zion to visit Dominus Abbey, the Upper Room also known as the Cenacle, commemorating the Last Supper. We then visit St Peter in Gallicantu.
Dinner and overnight Jerusalem.
Day 7 - Monday
Today we enjoy a walking tour of the Old City. We visit the Western Wall and proceed to the Temple Mount and walk along the Via Dolorosa to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. We visit the Pool of Bethesda (where Jesus healed a crippled man), the Jewish quarter and before ending the day at the Garden Tomb where we have a service. Dinner and overnight Jerusalem. Our evening meal will be a shortened form of the Passover Seder, to help us understand what was happening at the Last Supper.
Day 8 - Tuesday
We take a “day out” to visit the desert area south-east of Jerusalem. We drive along the shore of the Dead Sea (the lowest place on the earth’s surface), and visit the ancient fortress of Masada (another of Herod’s fortresses, and the famed site of Jewish resistance); Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found, possibly associated with John the Baptist; and Ein Gedi, scene of David’s pursuit by Saul. Finally, we have the opportunity to “float” in the Dead Sea.
Day 9 -Wednesday
In the morning we visit the Israel Museum to see the “Shrine of the Book”. We visit Jaffa and then transfer to the airport for our return flight to London Luton.

“The trip to the Holy Land was an exciting time of learning, travelling and fellowship. The tour guide exceeded expectations and gave new insights in to the Word of God, which was made a lot clearer when we understood more of our Jewish roots. The Bible seems more relevant now and it’s becoming more important for me to watch Israel; the time clock of the world.”
