For the past 5 years Glory TV has been arranging quality tours to the Holy Land, and other destinations focusing attention on the needs of the pilgrimage.

Our desire is to allow the individual to experience the Bible through the sites and sounds by making the tour as comfortable and spiritual as possible.

These tours are personally led by Sarfraz and Pam Munir.

GLORY TV invites you to ROME

Day 1 Monday
Depart London Luton on our flight to Roma Fiumicino airport. We are met on arrival and transferred by coach to our centrally located hotel. As most hotels located centrally only offer bed and breakfast, dinner will be taken at a restaurant within walking distance from the hotel.

Day 2 Tuesday
Today we have a full day guided tour lasting approximately 6 hours.
Starting at the Coliseum/Rome Forum.
Early in the afternoon we have a walking tour to the Pantheon/Trevi (Spanish steps). Meet the coach and tansfer back to our hotel.
Dinner will be taken at a restaurant within walking distance from hotel.

Day 3 Wednesday
This morning we take public transport (ticket not included) to the Vatican for an Audience with Pope.
In the afternoon visit the Vatican Museums with a local guide ending the afternoon at St Peters.
Dinner will be taken at a restaurant within walking distance from hotel.

Day 4 Thursday
Todays sightseeing begins at the Catacombs such as St. Callisto, then stopping at St Paul Outside the Walls for a visit.
We return to our hotel at approximately midday with the afternoon free for shopping.
Dinner will be taken at a restaurant within walking distance from hotel.

Day 5 Friday
After breakfast our coach will collect us for our transfer to Rome airport for our return flight to London Luton.

You will need a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) before you travel. It gives the holder rights to healthcare that becomes necessary during a temporary visit to EEA (European Economic Area) countries or Switzerland. The EHIC replaced the E111 form in Jan 2006. Fitness
People of all ages are welcome, but, whatever your age, we must insist on a reasonable level of fitness. A number of sites involve rough walking.

Passports, Visas and Vaccinations
Travellers are responsible for ensuring that they have a valid passport for travel to the relevant countries and that it is valid for at least 6 months after the date of travel. A visa is not required for British Passport holders visiting Italy. At the time this brochure went to press no vaccinations or inoculations are required for travel but you may wish to consult your own doctor for advice concerning this. If you have any queries regarding the above, we will be happy to help.

Further Information And Paying The Balance
Further information will be sent to you regarding any action that may be required approximately 10 weeks before departure. A final invoice will also be sent at this time and the balance for the tour must be paid at least 8 weeks before departure.

Travel Information
Full travel information, including details of meeting points, flight times, accommodation and travel information, will be sent to you approximately 2 weeks before departure. Normally, tickets are not issued but are handed to you at the airport or departure point by our representative who will be there to ensure that you depart without a hitch and to deal with any last minute difficulties.

Travel Insurance

Gratuities
These are not included in the price.

Room Check In and Check Out Times
The standard international practice is to let rooms from midday to midday. However times do vary. Check-in times are usually between 2pm and 3pm, check-out times between 11am and 12 noon on the day of departure. Therefore, if you check-in immediately after a night flight this would normally count as one night’s accommodation. Similarly if your return flight is at night you will normally be required to vacate your room at 12 noon prior to leaving for the airport. Day rooms are subject to availability/cost and should be arranged locally with the accommodation management.
