A wonderful Pilgrimage to the Holy Land

Led by Stephen & Jean Gillham

Tuesday 16th - Thursday 25th October 2018

Jean and I have been involved in Evangelism in Dorset for over 40 years. We have also led parties to Jordan, Slovenia, Austria, Cyprus, Greece, Germany, and Bulgaria and have had the privilege of visiting Israel on twelve occasions since 1988. We feel able to give the personal touch, not only ensuring the well being of our party but also being able to add to the guide’s explanation at various places we visit during the day. With our guide we shall find quiet places during our tours where we can read, pray and reflect on what we are seeing. In the evening we share God’s Word with particular relevance to the day’s travels.

We hope that you will be able to join us in this exciting pilgrimage, as we see and study so much of the life of the Lord and literally walk at times in the places where He walked. We have included in the itinerary some sites which we have not been to before as well most of the main sites which those visiting Israel for the first time would want to see. We have built into the Itinerary as much leisure time as possible to allow older friends to have sufficient breaks, should they become tired.

We know that Bible Reading will never be the same again after a tour of the places that we shall take you to. We are convinced that this will truly prove to be the trip of a lifetime!

There are two other possibilities we need to mention. There is the possibility of staying on in Netanya for a couple of extra days rest on the Mediterranean. The extra costs are listed below, but please make clear when booking if you want to stay the additional two days. Depending on the party and their ability to walk, we may be able to give the option in places where we think the Lord would have walked - literally walk in the steps of Jesus!

We shall limit the party size to around 30, so early booking is essential.
