Paul and Barnabas laboured there. It was part of the Byzantine Empire, and the centre of the Crusaders until conquered by the Turks.
Cyprus
Cyprus, a friendly and hospitable island offers some of the best beaches in the eastern Mediterranean. The Troodos mountains provide a cool sanctuary in summer and in Paphos you can enjoy an open-air museum around a picturesque fishing harbour.
South Africa
South Africa rightly claims to offer the world in one country, wonderful coastal scenery, beautiful mountains, amazing flowers, friendly people, sunny climate, and world class game-parks.
